Robert vs Ronnie (1974 #13)

Ahir, 26 de juliol, es va cumplir el 40 aniversari de la publicació de ROCK BOTTOM, el disc amb major reconeixement de Robert Wyatt.

A risc de ser lapidat pel segment purista i/ò snob de lectors d´orfes den Waits, deliberadament vaig decidir no dedicar-li una entrada al bloc perque, per més que ho he intentat, l´he trobat sempre un àlbum infumable...

També al juliol de 1974 (el dia exacte de publicació  és incert) va sortir al mercat el treball de debut (post-Faces) de l´entranyable RONNIE LANE amb la seva banda Slim Chance:

La primera edició en cd es va publicar l´any 1992, i amb els anys el disc es va convertir en peça de coleccionisme, ja que resultava impossible trobar-ne una còpia original al mercat per un preu asequible. 

Per que vos faceu una idea, vos pas les referències a data d´avui d´una coneguda web de venta online:

Per sort enguany el segell Island Records ha fet justícia al llegat de Ronnie Lane amb aquesta completa recopilació publicada fa uns mesos:
